Cheyenne Frontier Days Military Committee
About
Cheyenne Frontier Days has a long-standing history with its volunteers making it possible to run the 10-day festivities. This includes the rodeo, concert acts, PR, concessions, security, grounds, Native American relations, and tickets. With heavy involvement from airmen at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Air National Guard, Army National Guard, Air Force Thunderbirds, and local JROTC programs, it was time to create the Military Committee.

Project
I volunteered from the get-go with this committee and ultimately served on the board for their Booster club, which was in charge of driving donations for the committee and its events throughout the year. The logo pays tribute to the different military-focused events that occur during CFD, and homage to horses. The color purple is popular symbol within the military community, as the month of April is the Month of the Military Child. It’s a blend of blue and red, which is the color of most of the military branches.
